Windows Insiders in the Dev Channel are receiving a new update, which includes several exciting features for AMD and Intel-powered Copilot+ PCs. This update brings Recall, a new AI-powered feature that allows users to quickly find and get back to apps, websites, images, or documents by describing their content. Additionally, Click to Do (Preview) is now expanding beyond Recall to other Copilot+ PCs, making it easier to take immediate action on whatever catches your eye on-screen.

The update also includes new features in the Photos app, such as Restyle Image, which uses AI to apply artistic styles to photos, and Image Creator, which generates new images from text prompts. These features are designed to unlock new creative possibilities on Copilot+ PCs.

For those using Paint, a new Cocreator feature allows users to create amazing artwork with the help of AI, using text prompts to generate beautiful artwork without the need for a subscription.

Recall (Preview):

With Recall, you can quickly find and get back to apps, websites, images, or documents by describing their content. This AI-powered feature uses the capabilities of Copilot+ PCs to analyze your screen and deliver the desired content. In the future, we expect to see more advanced AI capabilities in Recall, allowing for even more precise results.

Click to Do (Preview):

In addition to Recall, we’re also expanding Click to Do (Preview) beyond Recall to other Copilot+ PCs. This feature allows you to take immediate action on whatever catches your eye on-screen, such as clicking a button, filling out a form, or opening an app.

Photos App:

The Photos app is getting some exciting updates as well, including Restyle Image, which uses AI to apply artistic styles to photos. With Restyle Image, you can turn a casual snapshot into a bold modern artwork or give your vacation photos a vintage aesthetic.

Paint:

If you’re a fan of Paint, you’ll be happy to know that it’s getting a new Cocreator feature that allows you to create amazing artwork with the help of AI. Simply enter a text prompt, and Paint will generate beautiful artwork based on your input.

Other Improvements:

In addition to these new features, this update includes some other improvements, such as tweaks to the taskbar, audio, and display issues. We’re also addressing some known issues, such as issues with Recall and Click to Do, and fixes for some general performance improvements.

Known Issues:

Microsoft Store Update:

For those using the Microsoft Store, you’ll be happy to know that it’s getting an update as well. This update allows Win32 apps to be updated directly in the Store, rather than requiring users to download updates from outside sources.
