File Explorer Improvements
File Explorer is getting a few tweaks, including opening folders in new tabs when launched from outside of File Explorer, and restoring previously open tabs when "Restore previous folder windows at logon" is enabled. Additionally, the "Automatically save my restartable apps and restart them when I sign back in" setting has been updated to include File Explorer specific settings.
Microsoft Store Update
The Microsoft Store is getting a feature update, allowing Win32 apps to be updated directly from the Store. Insiders can head to the Downloads page and click on the "Get Updates" button to see if there are any available updates for installed Win32 apps.
Fixes
This build also includes fixes for several issues, including:
- An issue with Pinyin IME users where switching between windows would unexpectedly switch the IME from Chinese to English.
- Issues with Bluetooth LE Audio, Internet Printing Protocol (IPP) printer, and Motherboard replacement.
- Updates to the Country and Operator Settings Asset (COSA) to bring profiles up to date for certain mobile operators.
Reminders for Windows Insiders in the Beta Channel
Insiders in the Beta Channel will receive updates based on Windows 11, version 23H2 via an enablement package (Build 22635.xxxx).
