Microsoft has announced the expansion of its Game Assist (Preview) feature to the Stable channel of Microsoft Edge, making it easier for gamers to access and use the feature without needing to install special software or change their default browser.

Game Assist (Preview) arrives in the Stable channel

For technical reasons, the initial preview of Game Assist required users to install Edge Beta 132 and set it as their default browser. With the release of Edge Stable 132, Game Assist is now available without any additional software or changes to the default browser. To opt-in to Game Assist (Preview), users can open Edge, go to Settings and more, search for Game Assist, and select Install widget.
