You start off as Dave, a diver, businessman and fisherman who wants to explore the mysterious Blue Hole. The Blue Hole is a dangerous place, but it is also home to a variety of rare and valuable fish. To explore the Blue Hole, you will need to upgrade your diving gear and weapons. You will also need to manage your oxygen supply carefully, as you will not be able to stay underwater for long. As you explore the Blue Hole, you will encounter a variety of challenges. You will need to solve puzzles, battle dangerous creatures, and collect resources. You will also need to manage your sushi restaurant, which is your main source of income. If you are successful, you will be able to unlock new areas of the Blue Hole, find rare fish, and become a successful businessman.

What is Dave the Diver game about?
Dave the Diver is a 2D indie game that works on your Windows 10 and Windows 11 PCs. Dave the Diver is a casual, singleplayer adventure RPG featuring deep-sea exploration and fishing during the day and sushi restaurant management at night. You play as Dave, a portly diver who is talked into managing a sushi restaurant and supplying it with the fish they need. He fishes at a spot called the Blue Hole whose geography and fauna change daily. Players can collect resources to upgrade or craft new items for Dave to use, such as diving gear and weapons to use in boss fights against giant underwater creatures. Dave’s air supply is decreased faster as he becomes overburdened, and he becomes more susceptible to predators, such as sharks. Being defeated in combat causes Dave to drop all his cargo except one item as he is rescued.

- Explore a vast underwater world: The game features a large and ever-changing underwater world to explore, with over 200 different fish species to discover.
- Catch and cook fish: Use your harpoon to catch fish, and then cook them in your sushi restaurant. The better the fish you catch, the better the sushi you can make.
