With that out of the way, you can now dive in to see if this game actually worth your time and money. I had no choice but to try this game, no choice? What do I mean? Well all the sudden I got an email from one of my subscriptions that told me that Enshrouded was trending, within just 4 days of its launch, it has already sold over 1 million copies, such success is reminding me of the mega viral game known as Palworld that we featured a couple weeks ago. Anyway, so I quickly downloaded it(at the original time of this post, the game is still in the early access phase meaning that the game will use the communities feedback to fix major bugs or add new features before the game is officially released). The game is stable so far, hence the millions of sales and it is constantly having close to 15k players worldwide playing at the same time, that is impressive, especially for a game that seemed like it had minimal marketing and it just burst onto the seen. You have to give credit to the developers, Keen Games GmbH, the german gaming company and they also behind other games like Portal Knights and a few others, most of them not well known but all of them pretty fun to play.

How is the gameplay like?

The gameplay is quite interesting, the gameplay offers a fun and well, unique survival, crafting, and action RPG combat style, all set in a big open-world continent that leans into exploration and adventure. As the Flameborn, the last ember of hope for a dying race, you are thrust into the role of a savior in a world shrouded in a corrupting fog. You must navigate through forests, caves, and dungeons, and you basically never know what you will find as you will find tons of secrets and hidden treasures just about everywhere.

The action rpg is where the game really gets good, players must face off against a variety of bosses and monsters. The game offers a blend of melee, ranged, and magic weapon options, giving you the freedom to tailor your own unique combat style.

Attacking enemies

Another great part, and actually my personal favorite, is the ability to build your own houses, buildings and craft your own weapons. Players can forge their path by building grand halls and creating tools and weapons necessary for survival. The game encourages players to hunt, gather, and craft, gradually building up their hero to take on the various challenges that await in the corrupted lands.

Enshrouded also stands out with its cooperative multiplayer aspect, supporting up to 16 players. This feature adds a social dimension to the game, allowing players to team up, share resources, and face challenges together.
