Today we will highlight some reasons why we think you should definitely give this game a try on your Windows PC. I have yet to play this game, as I type I am actually downloading the Riot games client which is basically an alternative to Steams’ client.
I wish it was on Steam so that we can install mods easier, as many of you know, I am a huge fan of gaming mods on PC and the main reason why now I prefer to game on PC, after you play the standard game for awhile it gets a bit boring and mods spice it up, I am right? Anyway, back to the game.
Valorant is very popular like I already stated and believe it or not, I heard about it for the first time less than 2 days ago, I know, I don’t know how I missed it but the game was released in 2020 so it’s still somewhat new and it is an action packed first person shooter which of course you can play on multiplayer.
As you will see from the screenshots and trailer below, the graphics are not anything spectacular and that’s why the hardware requirements of this game are not all that demanding.
The gameplay is where the game stands out, it is smooth and it has a bunch of weapons and maps to choose from and you get to choose from different characters known in the game as ‘agents’. They look like Anime characters, you will see what I mean if you try the game, remember it is free to play but of course you can choose to purchase certain things like skins etc.
Valorant’s core gameplay revolves around 5v5 matches where two teams, Attackers and Defenders, fight for control of a specific objective. Attackers try to plant a Spike (bomb) on specific sites, while Defenders try to prevent them and defuse the Spike if planted. Each round is fast-paced and tactical, requiring precise aim, quick thinking, and coordinated teamwork to secure victory.
If you choose to give this game a try, we would love to hear your thoughts in the comments section below.

It is developed by Riot Games and it is a popular tactical first-person shooter (FPS) game that combines elements of strategy and teamwork. It offers regular updates and new content to keep the gaming experience feeling new each time you load up the game.
Valorant Features:
- Agent Selection: Valorant offers a diverse cast of characters called Agents, each with their own unique abilities that cater to different playstyles. Agents are divided into four categories: Duelists, Initiators, Controllers, and Sentinels. Players need to strategically choose their Agents to create a well-balanced team.
- Abilities: In addition to traditional FPS weapons, Agents in Valorant have unique abilities that can be utilized during the game. These abilities, which can be offensive, defensive, or supportive, greatly influence the outcome of matches and require players to coordinate with their teammates for effective usage.

The game has a slower pace compared to some other FPS games, with one life per round and an emphasis on planning and execution.
- Economy System: Valorant features an in-game economy system where players earn credits by performing well, such as getting kills, planting or defusing the Spike, and winning rounds. These credits can be used to purchase weapons, armor, and abilities for the upcoming rounds. Managing the economy is crucial for success, as it directly impacts a team’s firepower and utility.
- Competitive Ranking System: Valorant has a competitive ranking system that places players in one of several skill tiers based on their performance in ranked matches. This system encourages players to improve their skills and provides a sense of progression as they climb the ranks. The ranking system also helps ensure that players are matched against others of similar skill levels for balanced and fair competition.
