"We use eBPF as an x-ray into operations flowing through the kernel of the operating system," Azulay explained. This means that Groundcover’s technology can monitor network packets in real-time and create sophisticated network filtering rules, while also offering detailed transaction insights.

Groundcover’s use of eBPF provides several advantages over traditional network-focused monitoring tools. For one, it enables the company to collect up to 10 times more observability data without increasing costs. This is because Groundcover’s "bring your own cloud" architecture allows data to remain within the customer’s infrastructure, addressing growing concerns about data privacy and reducing unnecessary data transfer costs.
Kubernetes and Log Monitoring
Last week at the KubeCon EU 2025 conference, Groundcover announced significant additions to its platform, including support for Kubernetes monitoring and advanced log monitoring features. The company also introduced an eBPF-based dashboarding system, enabling users to create custom dashboards to visualize infrastructure metrics.
The Road Ahead
With the new funding, Groundcover plans to expand its presence in the U.S. market and explore adjacent areas such as security monitoring and cloud cost optimization. As Azulay noted, "The past year has proven that we know how to combine product and go-to-market in a way that works very effectively for us… Right now, it’s our time to hit the gas, because the most precious thing for Groundcover is probably time – to move as fast as we can, as aggressively as we can, with the technological advantage that we have right now."
