Microsoft is continuing to advance AI innovation, and today we’re announcing significant updates to Azure AI Foundry, an integrated platform for designing, customizing, and managing enterprise-grade AI applications. This platform aims to accelerate the journey from AI experimentation to tangible business impact.

One of the major updates is the introduction of GPT-4.5, a groundbreaking new model in preview on Azure OpenAI Service. This model is designed to offer a more natural interaction experience, with a broader knowledge base and a higher "EQ" that can improve coding, writing, and problem-solving tasks.

GPT-4.5 is more accurate and has a lower hallucination rate compared to GPT-4o, making it a more reliable and precise tool for developers. This model can help users craft clear and effective communications, generate innovative ideas, and streamline project planning and execution.

In addition to GPT-4.5, Azure AI Foundry is also launching new models from Phi, Stability AI, and Cohere, each designed for specific domains and use cases. These models are more efficient and effective, requiring fewer computational resources.

Another key update is the introduction of new customization tools, including fine-tuning and distillation workflows. These features provide developers with more control over the performance of their models, enabling them to fine-tune them for specific tasks and environments.

The updates to Azure AI Foundry also include new features for enterprise agents, designed to enable secure automation and scaling. These features include a "Bring Your Own Vnet" (BYOV) capability, which allows agents to interact and process data within the organization’s own virtual network, eliminating public internet exposure. Another key feature is Magma, a Multi-Agent Goal Management Architecture that enables complex workflow orchestration and coordination across hundreds of AI agents.

The new updates to Azure AI Foundry are designed to accelerate AI deployment and productivity for businesses, enabling them to build innovative applications and solutions that drive value. With these new tools and features, developers can create custom AI solutions that meet the specific needs of their organizations, and enterprises can harness the power of AI to drive business success.
