Hello Windows Insiders! Today, we’re excited to announce the release of Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 22635.4805 (KB5050105) to the Beta Channel. This new build comes with several improvements and fixes to make your Windows experience better.

In the Beta Channel, you’ll notice that new features, improvements, and fixes are being gradually rolled out. These updates will be available to Insiders who have enabled the toggle to receive the latest updates as they become available in Settings > Windows Update.

One of the key changes is the introduction of new messaging in the Snap feature. When you accidentally invoke the Snap Bar or Snap Flyout, you’ll now see inline messaging to help educate users on snapping app windows and shortcuts. This is part of our efforts to drive contextual learning and discovery.

Another significant improvement is the new Gamepad keyboard layout for the touch keyboard in Windows 11. This update allows users to use their Xbox controller to navigate and type, with button accelerators and keyboard keys aligned for better controller navigation.

Narrator scan mode has also been enhanced with new features. You can now quickly access and jump to list items, as well as the beginning or end of large tables, lists, or landmarks. To try these features, simply turn on Narrator, then turn on scan mode by pressing Caps Lock + Spacebar and use the new shortcuts ‘I’, comma (,), and period (.).

In other news, Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers will see a new card on the Settings homepage, allowing them to refer their friends to try PC Game Pass for free. This new card will only appear if you’re signed in with your Microsoft account and meet the required eligibility criteria.

Unfortunately, there are some known issues in this build, including a problem with the Start menu, File Explorer, and Settings homepage. However, our team is working on fixes for these issues.

For those who want to be the first to get features gradually rolled out, you can enable the toggle to receive the latest updates as they become available in Settings > Windows Update. Remember, features and experiences included in these builds may change over time or be removed, so be sure to stay tuned for updates.

That’s all for now. Thanks for joining us, and we look forward to hearing your feedback!
