We’re excited to announce the release of Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 26120.3576 (KB5053650) to the Dev and Beta Channels. As a reminder, we’re also offering the same Dev Channel updates based on Windows 11, version 24H2 to Windows Insiders in the Beta Channel. These updates will be optional at first, but we plan to make them recommended later this year, which means you’ll eventually get upgraded to 24H2-based updates automatically in the Beta Channel.
If you’re an Insider in the Dev Channel, you can switch to the Beta Channel, but be aware that this may result in the loss of some features temporarily. The window to switch is only open as long as we’re releasing the same 24H2-based updates across both channels. When the Dev Channel jumps ahead with higher build numbers, the window will close.
Now, let’s talk about some of the new features being rolled out to the Dev Channel. One of the most exciting additions is the improvement to voice access commanding. Traditionally, voice commands would require a fixed syntax, making interactions rigid and sometimes frustrating. With this update, you can speak more flexibly and intuitively, and voice access will understand your intent and execute the right action. Additionally, real-time command suggestions will be shown based on your last utterance to help you remember the right commands.
Another new feature is the addition of Chinese support for voice access. You can now use voice access to navigate, dictate, and interact with Windows using voice commands in Simplified Chinese (zh-cn) and Traditional Chinese (zh-tw).
Other changes and fixes being rolled out to the Dev Channel include:
- A fix for an issue causing the see more “…” menu in the command bar to open in the wrong direction for some resolutions.
- A fix for an issue causing the login screen to crash if you clicked the sign in options link.
- A fix for an issue with Recall on Copilot+ PCs, where snapshots would be deleted after installing Build 26120.3380 and each reboot on that build.

Known issues have been identified, including:
- A 0x80070005 error when trying to reinstall the build.
- A visual issue with the toggle to get the latest updates, which may cause it to turn off by itself.
- A temporary issue with builds showing a wrong version number after a PC reset.
We’re working on fixing these issues in future updates. In the meantime, please be aware of the following known issues:
- Some Insiders may experience Recall being unable to save new snapshots or modify settings.
- Some Insiders may experience an issue where Recall is unable to automatically save snapshots, and the setting can’t be turned on in Settings.
- Some features in active development may not be fully localized and may be changed or removed.
