As we roll out the latest update for Paint, version 11.2502.121.0, Windows Insiders in the Canary and Dev Channels on Windows 11 will be able to experience a more streamlined and user-friendly experience. The update focuses on improving the Cocreator side panel, designed to let users create artwork more easily with the help of AI.

According to Dave Grochocki, Principal Group Product Manager – Windows Inbox Apps, the updated layout is simplified and more intuitive, making it easier for users to crank out their creative ideas. To get started, users can click on the Cocreator icon in the Copilot menu and describe what they want to create. From there, they can start drawing on the canvas with their mouse or pen, and the AI will generate the artwork.

The new update comes with a few exciting features, including a Try again button, which allows users to generate a new version of the image if they’re not satisfied with the first result. Additionally, the Apply button enables users to apply the generated content to the Paint canvas.

This update is an exciting step forward for Paint, and we’re eager to hear what you think! As always, we encourage you to file your feedback in the Feedback Hub (WIN + F) under Apps > Paint, and we’ll review and consider your suggestions.
